Hi! I’m Julie!
I help women kick start their business and personal growth journeys with real talk backed up with actionable tips. Podcaster, Coach, Speaker, Motivator, Founder, and Leader.
I’m a working woman and wife whose life has taken many twists and turns. I feel like I’ve had 10 different lives so far. I’m a proud New Orleans girl born and raised. I’m totally obsessed with: Pizza, Mardi Gras, & Purses. Fueled by sugar free Red Bull daily.
I believe glitter makes the world sparkle. I think a Mardi Gras parade brings more joy to this world than anyone realizes and brings people together like nothing else. I think finding the perfect purse and the perfect pair of fake eyelashes is life altering for any woman.
I’m probably most well known as the Captain of the Mystic Krewe of Nyx, an all female parading krewe with over 3400 women that I started in 2011. (which has grown to be the largest Mardi Gras Krewe in history– bananas, I know!) Nyx has influenced many of my other projects, like its sister krewe in Jefferson Parish, the Krewe of Pandora, and a beautiful dance team, the Nola Nyxettes. The culture of sisterhood and bringing women together inspires me. I’ve watched bonds of friendship form in front of my very eyes time and time again.
I began offering coaching services to assist ladies with their personal growth and business journeys. As an online life and business coach for women, I meet so many wonderful gals who want to improve their lives. Everybody wants to know how to stay motivated and become an entrepreneur. So I started the Let’s Get Purse-onal Podcast and now offer personal services for women who are ready to level-up. I’ve produced massive events, seminars, and communities for women to feel empowered and have founded three non- profit organizations, along with several other businesses. I understand personal relationships, logistics, leadership, grit, and the need for us all to belong.
My intention with this site is the same as my intention with my companies and all of my platforms… I want to give you tools that make your life better.
