Fear can be a very powerful thing. It’s what triggers our “fight or flight” response, and sometimes it can even cause us to freeze in our tracks. When it comes to pursuing our dreams and desires, fear can completely paralyze us. It can stop us from achieving everything we really could if we could just get past that fear.

So what fears are holding you back?

There are many fears that can grow inside us as women. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, and more are all valid and common fears. When we are fearful and overly analytical, we box ourselves in and get stuck in our fear. However, it doesn’t have to be this way! All you have to do is change up your perspective a bit…

I’m gonna lay out a couple fear scenarios, and show you how to turn that fear around:

Fear Of Rejection

Okay, so real talk, what’s the worst that could happen? You have a question or request for someone and you are absolutely TERRIFIED they won’t react the way you want them to. Are they going to tie you to a log and throw you in a volcano?? Probs not LOL (unless you roll with people like that—no judgement ;)!)

In all seriousness, however, the worst thing they can say is no; or that they don’t agree with you. Instead of seeing these outcomes as negative, see them as opportunities! You will have the chance to come up with something better for the both of you, and compromise. If you never ask, you never know; and never get to improve the situation at all.

Fear Of Failure

Being imperfect is part of being human. That’s just the way it is, and there’s no way to fix it. The best part of this is that IT’S OKAY. Promise. Nobody is expecting perfection; and if they are, that is completely unreasonable… Including you! You wouldn’t expect an ostrich to fly would you?

Nope! You would, however, expect it to be able to do what it CAN do! This is all you can expect of yourself, too! Instead of being afraid of failing or being imperfect, just do your absolute best. Your best is truly the best you have to offer, band that is ENOUGH. YOU are enough. <3

Those are the two big fears we face each day, and pretty much any super specific personal fear will fall under one of these.

Not, like…spiders and stuff, but you know what I mean. 😉 All you gotta do is see things from a positive point of view, and fear will have no place in your mind!
